We are seeking energetic, self motivated and process driven people to join our team in these unique and exciting opportunities. We are looking for Process Technicians to operate and oversee our pellet manufacturing process to drive performance, quality and process efficiencies are identified.

These are full-time positions based at our Caboolture site and suit applicants that have experience and motivation to ensure process uptime along with working in a team environment.  We recognise that these positions are unique and will be suited to those that have experience or are willing to complete job rotation and 12 hour shift work.

These positions also require a range of mobile plant operations including forklifts, bob-cat, loader and EWP. Licenses for these types of equipment are an advantage.

We are offering great wage and shift conditions with a 12 hour shift roster.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe systems of work are followed for all activities, promote a safe working environment in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Constantly reviews the operation of the plant to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Be prepared to operate Bobcat, Forklift (up to 16 tonne) and other mobile plant
  • Review product quality and makes system adjustments as need. Maintain data logs of all production aspects, including yield, moisture content, feed rates, consumption

Key to your success in this role will be:

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement
  • Participate in job rotation where and when required through-out the site
  • Must be prepared to undertake further training to improve skills base

Role requirements:

  • Must be able to work a 24/7 - 12 hour shift work roster including weekend work and Public Holidays
  • Secondary schooling (year 10 minimum but preferably to year 12)
  • Advanced Boiler ticket or Kiln Drying experience an advantage
  • Forklift, Bobcat and EWP ticket an advantage
  • Trade Qualification or experience in mechanical or electrical fitting a benefit
