AKD are seeking an energetic, diligent, and vibrant Sales Graduate to join our sales team, based at our Caboolture site. Providing support and assistance to the Sales team this position would perfectly suit someone who is keen to get their foot in the door and launch their career in Sales.

This position will require someone who is results orientated, has solid computer skills, and has a high attention to detail and accuracy. The candidate will also need to be a strong in communicator and comfortable to engage with others. This role will be reporting to the Sales Manager, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and assistance to the sales team as well as building strong and loyal relationship with our customer base. This position will suit a graduate who is keen to develop their skills in sales management, supply chain management and has a passion to work in a fast-paced, people first environment.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as a Qualification in Commerce, Business (or similar) or someone with demonstrated experience in a relevant sales role. You will be a confident administrator and ensure work is delivered accurately and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer enquiries
  • Accurate and timely processing of customer orders
  • Building exceptional rapport with customers and colleagues focused on long term relationships in line with our company purpose
  • Key support to our sales team

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-based role, with a view of being relationship focused 
  • Strong in person, phone and written customer communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and mange time and tasks effectively
  • Sound computing skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Thrives in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Willing to learn and be part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

The successful candidate would be a part of our Graduate Program cohort, where we focus on targeted professional development and work experience across different locations across our organisation. This role will provide targeted professional development with senior leaders in our business, a dedicated mentor to support your journey and opportunities to be part of national projects.

AKD would support the selected individual with accommodation and transport/relocation costs. Specific arrangements will depend on the individual and their circumstances and can be discussed as the process progresses.
