We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our Finance Team in Colac supporting the Group Finance function and the site-based finance teams across AKD’s six sawmilling sites.
The role will be exposed to a wide range of finance-related activities, from financial reporting for the group to tax, audit and treasury, while also offering support to transactional activities such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
The role is based in Colac and would suit a finance professional with industry experience, or a qualified accountant looking to make a first move from Chartered Accounting.
To be considered for this role you will:
- Be a driven self-starter, keen to develop your career in finance
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline
- Have the capacity to multi task and prioritise tasks
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Be adaptable and capable of working autonomously
- Be a committed team player
- Have strong Microsoft Excel skills
