We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated person for the position of Greasing Technician to join our team of over 30 qualified tradesmen to work across our Colac and Irrewarra sites.
This position will suit a self driven person that has great time management skills that is interested in working on a night shit roster (10:30pm – 6:30am, Sunday – Thursday). Applicants with a forklift license is an advantage but not essential. This position will assist in the ongoing preventative & predictive maintenance and ensure production efficiency. This position will perform routine greasing of plant across our site, checking and filling lubricant & hydraulic tanks, stock monitoring, oil sampling and perform shutdown work.
We offer job security and above award remuneration. This is a fulltime position working across our Colac sites, working in a state of the art workshop environment.
Preferred qualities and qualifications include:
- Mechanically minded and interested in working in a ‘hands on’ role.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/industrial background is desired but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Pneumatics / Hydraulics is an advantage.
- Car license is required, forklift license is an advantage but can be provided if needed.
- Sound knowledge and acceptance of OH&S Principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
