FIBRE SUPPLY SCHEDULER

Due to the growth of the organisation over recent years, we are offering an exciting opportunity for an astute, self motivated person to join our Forestry team in the newly created role of Fibre Supply Scheduler.
This role has been developed to plan and manage the short to medium term fibre supply activities of the business’s Victorian operations in order to meet and exceed operational and financial targets.
Ensuring that the appropriate systems, structures, relationships and practices are in place to execute sustainable fibre supply activities, the position will work closely with the sales, operations and the wider forestry departments.
The position will be involved in strategic procurement activities determining best value for fibre direction and purpose. Fostering strong relationships with key suppliers, contractors and customers the Fibre Supply Scheduler will also support the Resources Manager with strategic planning, development and continuous improvement of the Forestry function.
To be successful in this role, the applicant should:
- Have a sound knowledge of Forestry Supply Chain processes
- Possess advanced problem solving and analytical skills
- Be well organised with excellent communication skills
- Be autonomous and self driven, but also work well in a team environment.
- Have strong computer skills, including highly advanced excel skills.
- Tertiary qualifications are looked upon favourably, however those with previous relevant experience or a willingness to learn or undergo further studies are encouraged to also apply.
