We are offering an exciting opportunity for an astute finance professional to join our team in the newly created position of Senior Financial Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of AKD’s financial performance in a form that is relevant and informative for key internal and external stakeholders. The role will also be responsible for AKD’s finance and reporting systems, budget and forecasting process, and be the primary point of contact for audit and tax.
The role will be an integral part of the Company’s Finance team and have regular exposure to the Executive and members of the Board. An ability to communicate effectively across the entire organisation is a prerequisite. The role would suit a finance professional with industry experience, or a qualified accountant seeking a first move out of the chartered environment.
This full time position is based at our main site of Colac; a regional city located in the fully serviced South West Victorian region – part of the rapidly growing Otway Ranges, 40 minutes to Lorne and The Great Ocean Road, 1 hour to Geelong and 2 hours to Melbourne. The role will involve infrequent travel to our other sites across Victoria.
